Where calorie dutting Doesn't work - Part 2
June 22, 2008
When is trans fat good for you? The answer is when it is naturally occurring. Conjugated Linoleic Acid, or CLA, may lower the “bad” LDL cholesterol and not effect HDL,or “good” cholesterol , according to a review of the literature in the journal “Lipid Technology”. Other studies have found that supplementation of CLA has produced fat loss. Where can you get it? Grass fed beef or dairy is your best dietary bet; if you choose supplementation, Tonalin is the brand that has been used in the studies. It’s interesting that naturally raised foods seem to have more of what’s good for us than “factory food”. Maybe because that’s the kind of food our bodies were getting when they were designed.
